"Because we are Spartans! We protect our home and our people. One day, you might need to be brave like never before." Growing Strong Years passed, and Leonidas grew taller and stronger. His muscles became hard as rocks from all the exercise. Anyone who ate the special lotus flowers would forget about going home. "Don't eat anything!" Odysseus warned his men. Some didn't listen. They ate the flowers and wanted to stay forever! But clever Odysseus had a plan. He carried his sleepy friends back to the ship. "Home is better than any flower," he said with a smile. The Giant Problem Their next stop was scarier.
