The Dreamer’s Vision
In a small village in China, many years ago, lived a young man named Hong Xiuquan. He had big dreams! Hong wanted to be a teacher and help others learn. But something amazing was about to happen to him.
One day, Hong got very sick. He had to stay in bed for many days. While he was sick, he had a strange dream. In his dream, he went up to heaven!
“I saw an old man with a golden beard,” Hong told his family. “He gave me a special sword and told me I had an important job to do!”
When Hong got better, he started thinking about his dream a lot. He believed God had chosen him for something special. He began reading books about Christianity and learned new ideas.
A New Teacher
Hong started teaching others about what he learned. He told them about being kind to each other and helping the poor. Many people liked his ideas!
